Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our window cleaning service.

Bad Weather Satisfaction Guarantee

Sometimes, in England it rains. Which is unfortunate because we don't like getting wet. Your windows don't mind though. Rain water is very pure, with an average "Total Dissolved Solids" of less than 10 Parts Per Million. This is why rain doesn't leave any residue when it dries.

The water we use when cleaning your windows is deionised. The "Total Dissolved Solids" is >=0.1 Parts Per Million. An average rainy day does not affect our ability to provide the service as if it were done immediately before a spell of rain.

This being said, if ever you're not happy with the standard of service, we will come back free of charge to rectify any issues.

How will my windows be cleaned?

For the majority of work, we use a Reach System to remove dirt and leave a characteristic shine. This is also accompanied by hand tools and products to deal with anything stubborn. We do use ladders when necessary.

We use traditional window cleaning tools for cleaning interiors.

Tell me more about your special water

It is not typical for providers in this industry to go as far as we have to ensure the purity of the water we use. Typically, equipment is bought from the fishkeeping industry to make water that is very pure, and usually fine to use for window cleaning.

Our water comes from two locations. Our small industrial unit near Kirton and in Heckington. Tap water goes through a series of prefilters, then the Reverse Osmosis membrane via a 100psi pressure pump. The product then goes to a pressure vessel with Anion and Ion exchange resin. The resulting water is the same purity grade as the 2.5L distilled water that can be bought in supermarkets or as can be found inside batteries.

Do you clean the sills and frames too?

Yes. Our service includes all windows, doors, sills and frames. We keep an eye out for certain fittings as well, such as signage, security boxes, cameras and light fittings.

How do I pay?

We post an invoice after every service which you can settle via:

  • BACS payment
  • Cheque posting
  • Direct Debit (for a smooth, automatic experience)
  • Cash (paid directly to the team member on the day)

Choose whatever works best for you. We're flexible with payment methods.
